The Millennium Institute of Astrophysics MAS gathers an interdisciplinary team of researchers from five renowned Chilean universities: the Universidad de Chile, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, the Universidad de Valparaíso, the Universidad de Concepción, and the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. MAS has a wide global collaboration network and aims to prepare our national astronomy community for the next paradigm transformation that will come with the LSST operations and the brand-new astronomy defined by the out-of-core volume data management.
