Son las m\u00e1s prominentes de un grupo de alrededor de un millar de estrellas j\u00f3venes y calientes que nacieron juntas hace tan solo 100 millones de a\u00f1os. Se formaron a partir de una nube de hidr\u00f3geno molecular fr\u00eda, que al colapsar se dividi\u00f3 en fragmentos que formaron grumos m\u00e1s densos. Al interior de ellos, la temperatura aument\u00f3 a tal punto que inici\u00f3 la fusi\u00f3n nuclear de hidr\u00f3geno en helio: \u00a1Ha nacido una estrella!
