A pesar de tener un tama\u00f1o y una masa similar a la Tierra, su atm\u00f3sfera, formada casi en su totalidad por di\u00f3xido de carbono (CO<sub>2<\/sub>), es muy densa lo que produce un efecto invernadero tan extremo que incluso podr\u00eda derretir el plomo. Por mucho tiempo se pens\u00f3 que bajo esas espesas nubes se encontrar\u00eda un para\u00edso tropical.
