When I was nine, in a dark night, my father taught me how to recognize the first stars, and that was the moment I knew I would be an astronomer. I have been dreaming my whole life to live under the Southern skies.
I am from Napoli, Italy, the city where I studied and got my PhD.
I spent some months at the Pennsylvania State University, USA, as a grad student, working on broad absorption line variability.

Cuando tenía nueve años, en una noche oscura, mi padre me enseñó a reconocer las primeras estrellas, y ese fue el momento en que supe que sería astrónoma. He soñado toda mi vida con vivir bajo los cielos del sur.
Soy de Nápoles, Italia, la ciudad donde estudié y obtuve mi doctorado.
Pasé algunos meses en la Universidad Estatal de Pensilvania, EE.UU., como estudiante de postgrado, trabajando en la variabilidad de las líneas de absorción.
