I entered 2013 to later integrate into the specialty of Electrical Engineering, the Bachelor of Computer Science and the Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.

In 2017 and part of 2018 I worked in the SRMI Lab, a Mechanical Engineering laboratory focused on equipment maintenance. There I have mainly researched Deep Markov Models, models of neural networks that serve as an approach to a Bayesian filter to be able to integrate the physics that govern the processes.

Since the beginning of 2016 and until now I have researched in the Computational Intelligence Laboratory in the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Chile working mainly with Pablo Huijse and Pablo Estévez. Here I have studied semi-supervised learning algorithms applied to curves of the VVV survey, my last efforts have been concentrated in unsupervised applications using generative models like Variational Autoencoders for the clustering of transient candidates.

Research Interest:

  • Transient Candidates
