Pablo Ignacio Andrés Rodríguez Cuevas

I was born in the Valparaíso Region in the city of Viña del Mar. In the school I liked studying physics when it was introduced in the classes and it was during these years that my interest in astronomy emerged and grew.

In 2016 I traveled to Santiago and became an undergraduate student in Astronomy at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. At the university I enjoyed studying stellar astrophysics and related topics in that area.. The first semester of 2022 I did my undergraduate practice on the search of Hypervelocity Stars in the bulge of the Milky Way using proper motions from the VVV.

Research Interests:

  • Kinematics and Star Dynamics
  • Globular Clusters
  • Variable Stars
