1st IMFD- MAS meeting

We are happy to announce the first joint workshop meeting between the Millennium Institute for Foundational Research on Data (IMFD) and the Millennium Institute of Astrophysics (MAS) to be held this Friday 15th of March between 2 and 5 PM in the Picarte auditorium of the Computer Science Department at UChile (DCC, 3rd Floor, North Building, Beauchef 851).

The idea of the workshop is to explore possible collaborations between the two institutes, taking advantage of the natural complementarity of our research areas. We will start with introductory talks about the two institutes, followed by a series of lightning talks about individual projects, and finally an open discussion session. The schedule is as follows:

2:00 – 2:50 Introduction to IMFD and MAS
2:50 – 3:30 Lightning talks
3:30 – 4:00 Coffee
4:00 – 5:00 Discussion
