I recently obtained my Ph.D. in Astronomy at Universidad de Chile, and now I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Statistics of the Pontificia Universidad Catlica de Chile (PUC), working on the ALeRCE project. In 2016 I won the L’Oreal-UNESCO for Women in Science Award, which recognizes and supports accomplished young women researchers. My main research interests are the study of transients in the universe, like Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN), and the application of statistical and machine learning techniques to astronomical data sets.

Research Interests:

  • Astroinformatics
  • Astrostatistics
  • Transients
  • Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN)
